There is one egg still left unhatched in the nest - do you think that one will hatch toLooks like I have four live births!  Talk to you soon.....Linda.  Posted May 5th, 2009

Orange Crown Warbler

Orange Crown Warbler:  Photo taken by Stacy Davis Medway Jan 18th 2009.

First noticed in the early fall, he stuck around all fall, winter, and spring, up until a few weeks ago.  We would feed him warm mealworms every morning, (he really looked forward to them and would be waiting) and occasionally apple pieces.  He was a real treat for us because he was not supposed to be here in the east at all!  Their breeding habitat is open shrubby areas across Canada, Alaska and the western United States
